Default MAN UTD GOOD RECORD against Chelse in FA Cup

We look at the 10 past encounters between the sides in the FA Cup competition from most recent to the very first.

Hopefully this season MANCHESTER UNITED can keep their good records.
GLORY GLORY MANCHESTER UNITED.

10 March 1999 (Q-final replay Chelsea 0 - 2 ManUtd)
A brace from Dwight Yorke, with one goal scored in each half, took United into the FA Cup semi finals in their treble winning season in Stamford Bridge.
The intial tie at Old Trafford on 7 March 1999 finished goalless, with Paul Scholes and Roberto di Matteo sent off.

04 January 1998 (Third Round Chelsea 3 - 5 ManUtd)
A bizzare tie which United led 5-0 with 74mins played after a brace piece from David Beckham and Andy Cole and one more from Teddy Sheringham, before Graeme Le'Saux's goal and a double from Gianluca Vialli briefly raised the possibility of comeback.

31 March 1996 (Semi Final ManUtd 2 - 1 Chelsea )
United moved a step closer to a historic second domestic double with this semi-final win at Villa Park. Andy Cole and David Beckham scored the United's goal with Ruud Gullit grabbing the Chelsea reply.

14 May 1994 (Final ManUtd 4 - 0 Chelsea )
The Red Devils completed the domestic double for the first time in their history with a comfortable win. Two penalties in six minutes from Eric Cantona
60' and 66' and further goals from Mark Hughes and Brian McClair did the damage.

30 January 1988 (Fourth Round ManUtd 2 - 0 Chelsea )
Norman Whiteside and Brian McClair continued United's cup superiority over Chelsea, but they were eliminated in the next round by Arsenal.

15 January 1979 (Third Round ManUtd 3 - 0 Chelsea )
United made easy work of this tie with goals from Steve Coppell, Jimmy Greenhoff and Ashley Grimes at old trafford. Dave Sexton's team reached the cup final, this time losing to a late Sunderland goal in a 3-2 defeat to Arsenal.

16 March 1963 (Fifth Round ManUtd 2 - 1 Chelsea )
This was the season where the United trio of Bobby Charlton, Denis Law and George Best came together for the first time, and the Red Devils went on from this tie to win the FA Cup, beating Leicester in the final. Albert Quizall and Law got the United Goals, Dennis Sorrell replying for Chelsea.

04 March 1950 (Q-Final Chelsea 2 - 0 ManUtd )
Chelsea's only FA Cup victory over united, as Roy Bentley and Bobby Campbell scored for the blues in front of a crowd of over 70,000 at Stamford Bridge.

01 Feb 1908 (Second Round ManUtd 1 - 0 Chelsea)
The first meeting of the sides was won by United, thanks to a Sandy Turnbull goal at their old Bank Street ground. United finished the season by winning the league title for the first time in their History.

History will not bluff and cheat.
History prove that our team 'Man Utd' is much much more stronger and experience in the FA Cup Competition compared to Chelsea.

The history will continue at the new wembley this weekend.
I hope another story will add into ManUtd History again.

I am confidence ManUtd will win, during S.AF era ManUtd only lost 1 time in FINAL. Once ManUtd reach to FINAL, it will never be easy for opponents to crack them down.

Prediction: Man Utd 2 - 1 Chelsea (FT)

I should predict that the scorer will not be the stiker. It comes from midfield and defender.

Hehehe....this is just prediction, it may be wrong.
